SciArt Insight: Exploring the Convergence of Science and Humanities Event Concludes with Grand Finale at Maharishi University, Noida

The School of Science and Humanities at Maharishi University concluded its four-day event, "SciArt Insight," with a grand finale on 22nd February 2024. The event, which began on 19th February within the department, featured a series of competitions and activities showcasing the fusion of Science and Humanities.
The final day commenced with a warm welcome by the students of the School of Science and Humanities. This was followed by a Guru Puja in honour of Maharishi ji, conducted by Dr. Mudita Agarwal and Gaurav sir, the respected Dean and Deputy Dean of the School of Consciousness.
The event continued with a welcome address by Prof Dr. Archana Pandey, the Dean of the School of Science and Humanities, setting the stage for a day filled with celebration and academic fervor.
The highlight of the day was the announcement of winners from the various competitions held during the event. Priyanshi Chauhan from BA (Honours) emerged as the winner of the Poster Competition, which took place on 21st February. Vinod from BA (Honours) claimed victory in the Just a Minute Competition, also held on 21st February. The Debate Competition, held on 19th February, was won by Soma Goswami, Soumeek Mitra, Shreya Mishra, Ashutosh Singh, and Durgesh, showcasing their intellectual prowess. The Quiz Competition, held on 20th February, saw Rohit from B.Sc clinching the top spot.
The most awaited segment of the day was the "Grand Convergence: The Ultimate Scholar Showdown," where the winners from each competition competed for the title of 'Ultimate Scholar' of SOSH, 2024. After a fierce competition, a winner was crowned, receiving special recognition and accolades.
Throughout the event, cultural performances by the students added vibrancy and creativity. The event was hosted by Nikita Mehra and Kumkum from the Department of Science, along with Rohit and Shambhavi from the Department of Science and Department of Humanities.
The day concluded with words of gratitude expressed by Dr. Sukhman Randhawa, an Assistant Professor at SOSH, thanking the deans, faculty members, event teams, cultural teams, participants, and students for their contributions and support. The event ended on a patriotic note with the singing
of the National Anthem, marking the end of an unforgettable celebration of the convergence of Science and Humanities.
