The Media Department of Maharishi School of Media and Animation organized a highly informative and enriching workshop on "NEWS REPORTING AND ANCHORING SKILLS." The workshop featured Senior Anchor Mr. Vivek Srivastava from ABP News, who shared his extensive experience and expertise in the field of journalism. The workshop aimed to provide students with insights into the intricacies of news anchoring and reporting in the contemporary media landscape.

The event began with a traditional 'Guru Puja' and lamp lighting ceremony. Following that, Mr. Vivek Srivastava was introduced, and he was felicitated by Dr. Trapty Agarwal, Dean Academics, and Dr. Smita Mishra, Deputy Dean Academics. Both emphasized the importance of honing news anchoring and reporting skills in today's fast-paced media industry.

During his presentation, Mr. Vivek Srivastava spoke about various aspects of news anchoring, highlighting the significance of credibility, clarity, and impartiality in delivering news to the audience. He also provided tips on effective communication, developing an on-air presence, and handling challenging situations during live news broadcasts. His talk was peppered with captivating anecdotes and real-life examples, keeping the students thoroughly engaged.

Throughout the workshop, Mr. Vivek Srivastava encouraged interactive sessions, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. His dynamic presentation style and vast knowledge left everyone inspired and motivated.

As the workshop concluded, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta, Deputy HoD of the Media Department, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Vivek Srivastava for sharing his insights and expertise with the students. He also extended thanks to Dr. Trapty Agarwal and Dr. Smita Mishra for their support in organizing the workshop. Dr. Gupta reiterated the department's commitment to providing quality education and training in media studies.
