            SPECIAL LECTURE CUM WORKSHOP ON

            “IMPORTANCE OF TV JOURNALISM IN THE ERA OF NEW MEDIA”

Explaining the excitement and the thrills of being a part of Indian news channels which is a dream of many student-journalists pursuing the journalism course at this University, Channel Head of Sadhna Prime News Mr. Prem Shankar Singh said that hard work and a willingness to learn is essential in the classrooms which will open the door for a career in it if one has the passion and determination to excel in TV news journalism.

Talking about the function of the editorial newsroom, Mr. Singh stressed the need for learning how to write effectively and if learnt, there will be no dearth of jobs in the industry.

The Department of Media organized a special lecture cum workshop for the student of the media department with the very renowned Senior Executive Editor of Sadhna Prime News (UP/UK) Mr. Prem Shankar Singh on Tuesday 30^th January 2024. Mr. Prem worked with various news channels like Sahara Samay , DD News , Mahua News as a output head , editor output etc.

All staff and faculty members of Department of Media, Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta (Deputy HOD); Mr. Nitin Saxena; Ms. Bhavni Singh; Mr. Shivam Yadav; Mr.Sunil Kumar Yadav; Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat; and Mr. Arvind Singh, as well as students of Department of Media, actively participated in this special lecture.
