4th Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Intra Moot Court Competition

In Co-ordination with IQAC, The Moot Court Society (Maharishi Students Bar Forum) of Maharishi Law School organized 4th Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Intra Moot Court Competition, dated 1st and 2nd March, 2024. The event was graced by esteemed Chief Guest Hon’ble Justice Mr. Dharinder Jha and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh. With a wealth of experience in the legal field, Justice Dharindhar Jha's presence added immense value to the competition. The chief guest was joined by prominent legal practitioners like Adv. Vivek Kumar Verma, Adv. Ritu Goyal, Adv. Mehak Rathi , Adv. Tushar Ved Saxena, who lent their expertise as judges. Their insightful feedback not only evaluated participant’s performances but also provided invaluable guidance for improvement.

The competition witnessed intense rounds of arguments and deliberations, showcasing participant’s prowess in legal research, advocacy, and critical thinking. The preliminary rounds showcased the depth of talent among the participating teams, which was judged by 18 Teams leading to the selection of two deserving finalists.
In the nail-biting final round, the team that emerged victorious was Team Mac Donell: L.B. Kiran (LL.B 1st year), Anushka Ghosh (LL.B 1st year), Laxmi (LL.B 2nd year) and the Runner-up team was Team John Marshall: Ayush (B.A LL.B 1st year), Anas(B.A LL.B 1st year) and Palak(B.A LL.B 1st year).

Student Feedback: The 4th Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Intra Moot Court Competition, organized by the Moot Court Society (Maharishi Students’ Bar Forum) of Maharishi Law School, was a resounding success. The event showcased the talent and dedication of law students in honing their advocacy skills. After the event, feedback was taken from all participating students. The majority expressed satisfaction and enthusiasm, requesting more such Competitions in future.
