Objective of the Event: - The primary objective of our campaign is to raise consciousness in the community on the sensitive topic of sexual abuse subjected to children.
Participating Students: - 15 students of BA.LLB, BBA.LLB and LLB.
The Awareness Programme on “ Protection of Children from the Sexual Abuses” was organised by Legal Aid Committee of Maharishi Law School in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar It was successfully organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) K.B.Asthana Dean MLS, and Dy. Dean Dr. Amita Rathi, Mr. Vikas Kumar (Assistant Professor), Mr. Arun Kumar (Assistant Professor) and Ketan Kumar (Teaching Assistant).

The event held at Pt. Shalagram Junior High School , Habibpur, Greater Noida , Uttar Pradesh
The event started with Felicitation of the chief guest Mrs. Richa Upadhyay (Additional District Judge/Secretary - District Legal Services Authority) was present and the second guest Mr. Mohan Bhardwaj (Cyber Cell – Uttar Pradesh Police) was present.
In this, children were made aware of the sensitive topic under the POCSO Act through the presentation of a street play by the students of Maharishi Law School. The members of the street play displayed varied emotions, delivering an impactful message to the audience.
The audience applauded the efforts of students, thereby making it a successful event.
