Objective of the Workshop: The workshop aimed to empower students with essential knowledge and competencies in human resource management and bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world HR practices.

Participating Students: MBA and BBA students were the primary attendees of the workshop.

The Maharishi School of Business Management, Noida, in partnership with Twashta Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd.’s SkillsRediscovery.com, as an outcome of the MOU signed, organized a workshop on the theme "Essential HR Skills" on January 30, 2024 (Tuesday) in the auditorium at MUIT, Noida Campus.

The speaker of the workshop was Ms. Sonal Dutta, a renowned HR trainer with more than 16 years of experience. The workshop commenced with the felicitation of the guest speaker by Dr. Trapty Agarwal (Dean Academics, MUIT Noida) and Prof. Smita Mishra (Dean, SOBM).

The speaker first enlightened the students with the basic knowledge of human resource management and its roles and functions. She then discussed in detail all the various essential HR skills (communication skills, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, technological proficiency, legal and compliance knowledge, and strategic thinking) for success in HR roles with the help of live examples. One of the workshop highlights was an engaging activity that involved students, and emphasized the importance of coordination, cooperation, and teamwork.

Overall, the workshop, organized in collaboration with IQAC, was successful in delivering students the information and abilities they would need to succeed in their future HR endeavors. It advanced their professional growth and equipped them with the confidence and competence to navigate the complexities of HR. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, promoting discussions among the participants.
