Maharishi School of Media a special lecture on ‘Public Relations - The Career In Demand’ for the students of Department of Media on Thursday, October 26, 2023, 2:00 pm onwards, with Ms. Smarika Khari, CEO, The Xperts Team, a Public Relations Agency in New Delhi.
Ms. Smarika Khari spoke about the career in PR is highly in demand due to how much the brands invest in their social media page. They perceive social media as the most important aspect of their business. The business reputation depends upon how the market perceives the brand.
The Special Lecture was a combination of engaging presentation, question-and-answer session, group exercise and personal exploration and reflection. Later Ms. Smarika Khari did an interview on Public Relations with a student of BAJMC Semester- 1, where she said that how each individual role within a modern agency contributes to the final outcome, what it’s like to work with peers to solve creative problems, and with a final outcome that can be used as a potential portfolio piece.
The lecture was attended by students and faculty members of Department of Media Ms. Ritu Prashar, HOD, Dr. S S Gupta, Ms. Bhavni Singh, Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, Mr. Mohan Singh Rawat and Mr. Arvind Singh from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It was a great learning experience for the Department of Media.
