Run for Unity is a special nationwide marathon, held to highlight the key efforts made by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to unify India. 
In continuation to that, Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida has flagged off the 'Run for Unity’ on the birth anniversary of the first Home Minister and the ‘Iron Man’ of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This day is also known as National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
Run for Unity was organized on 31st October 2022, at MUIT, Noida. Deputy Dean Academics, Dr. Trapty Agarwal flagged off the rally. The unity march proceeded from the gate no. 3 of the university and advanced along the main road before reaching gate no 7 of the university. The rally was joined by Deputy Dean Academics, Deans of all schools, Faculty members and students. Approx. 150 participants participated in the rally with great zeal.

To commemorate this occasion and express its gratitude to educate the students about Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a Quiz Competition on National Unity Day was also organized by the Event and Cultural Committee. All the students participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition. Subsequently, the participants were served refreshments to Re-energize them.
